I know in the beginning dealerships in Canada were "supposedly" fulfilling customer orders based on allocations. Do you think customer interest had any bearing on color production?
Its weird that red is the rarest since the cars they unveiled originally were the white and red.
Ah the good old...
I've seen a slow trickle of used FL5's on AT ranging from 100km to 8k and wondered who all these people are that are letting go so soon LOL. I understand living situations change, maybe the switch to a dedicated 5 seater, or maybe financial woes, but it seems unreal to me. I would absolutely...
Yeah, the only reason I mentioned that at all is that I feel like a ton of people are getting crazy FOMO and are making poor financial decisions over this huge emotional, nostalgia play for CTRs and ITS', along with the sunsetting of ICE manuals.
People need to know that they're going to be...
Same, considered an FK8 but paying the current used "market value" for one just seems financially irresponsible.
I don't think there will be any shortage of used FK8s or new/used ITS' in the near future, obviously thats all speculation. However if you're comfortable waiting and dont really need...
Thats what I suspected as well, the difference in engine code lead me to speculate, but I also missed Jack alluding to engine code designations in the SG vid. Genuinely appreciate your confirmation/clarification.
Your secret's safe with me Superman lol.
My bad, Jack actually mentions in the SG video that the engines are identical and that the engine codes only denote which vehicle they're going into, I must've missed that.
Congrats on the kiddo!
It could absolutely just be a tune, but given that they have different engine codes there's likely more to it. It seems like the CTR dev team tried to adhere more closely to the CTR ethos and make the FL5 feel as close to an NA VTEC as possible with the power developing linearly and into the...
Yes 30lbs, heavier was just a generalization to make a North American point, since it was developed by the U.S. team.
The majority of the differences are incremental and some can be swapped between platforms, or achieved with tuning.
People need to get on with their lives over which is better...
Have you had a comparable amount of seat time in both the FL5 and DE5?
I feel like this requires clarification
Better side bolstering on seat (vs the base or Aspec Integra)
better sound, chosen on various modes (subjective)
feel’s faster, more hp (5 hp difference, the, "feel" is a tune and...
Those covercraft shades look pretty nice, specially if they're according folded. The weather tech ones come rolled, which is a bit of a pain in the butt.
Weathertech manufactures and sells sunshades, I dont know for sure whether the fitment for these is vehicle specific or universal (even though you filter for your vehicle), but I can say that we've purchased separate sunshades for 2 different makes and models of vehicle, an forester and a camry...
I havent heard of many people complaining about the suspension in comfort, just that R+ is practically a joke. So I mean people could just run in comfort or sport and pick their poison on the road.
@Sazabi You in for a an FL5 in RR? lol
Oh true, I hadnt considered that, but that would make total sense! Glad they havent hiked the price, but fearful of a '24 hike in that case LOL.
That GR86 performance pack has me trying to figure out how to make that car work in my life LMAO, the dampers and brembos are going to be...
@JBO is an Australian member who owns a GT4 and has test driven the FL5, you may be able to compare notes with him on his experience. Im sure there are other Porsche owners on the forum, but can't remember off the top of my head.
