Make it 3 lol. Honestly my hopes aren't very high though. 2023 Civic Si pricing in Canada went up another $1000 without any changes made. I expect CAD pricing to be around $52k at this rate. Welp, nothing to do but wait and see.
I don't have personal experience per say, but from my research (since I considered something similar at one point) it would definitely provide protection to the paint underneath but not as good as a proper PPF. The wrap wouldn't be as thick as PPF and wouldn't have the "self-healing" properties...
Looks like price leak was accurate if you add the $1095 destination fee. Packages are also alot cheaper than I thought they would be.
$1180 Performance package adds the Torsen differentials and larger brakes
$770 Technology package adds the JBL audio system and wireless smartphone charger
$500...
You'll see the same thing happen in NA, only instead it'll be the dealership owner who buys the first one and plops it in the show room for everyone to look at.
What do you suggest they do then since order volume is outstripping demand for literally every model that Honda makes? Maybe they can have a life sized cardboard cutout of all their cars?
It's a halo car thats meant to drum up dealership traffic, itd be silly not to have one on show for that...
I think you guys are also just missing on how different dealerships operate in Japan vs America.
Land and space is a HUGE luxury in Japan. Most dealerships probably dont have the space for 50 cars just sitting on their lot, let alone 100s. So what do they do? Easy, keep 1 car of each model for...
Its the morizo edition, so its also got no back seats all in the name of "weight savings". I'll be shocked if the core and CE models don't have a centre arm rest.
Hypothetical math here:
Acura TLX A-Spec (SH-AWD) : $47,850
Acura TLX Type-S (SH-AWD) : $53,700 (12.2% increase, or $5850 more)
Acura Integra A-Spec : $35,800
Acura Integra Type-S : $40,167 (12.2% increase) or $41,650 ($5850 more)
Actually not as high as I thought it might be. 2021 Civic Type...
Or maaaybeee... it has to do with Honda only being able to produce 40-60% of what they usually do.
Honestly I'd love a manual Integra Type S with a 2.0T but I think it'll be even more expensive than the Type R.
Honestly, had the manual Integra come with a de-tuned 2.0T I would probably have it at the top of my list as a perfect compromise between sporty and luxury. But at its current price with the same 1.5T from the Si? EEHHHH....The luxury is nice, but not THAT nice.
The only reason I can think that...
I talk about it as a back up to the CTR because I already have a deposit down for both. I'm just waiting to see what the final pricing will be for CTR and GRC before deciding on which, or just saying fuck it all and getting a GR86 and saving the extra cash.
Sitting down in the car parked in a garage, haptic feedback and touch screens are great (like my phone!). While I'm driving on a bumpy road? No thank you (unironically... also like my phone!).
For those who havent experienced it, Mazda has absolutely nailed the infotainment control with their...
Agreed! I'd definitely need the Premium with that ducktail. It's a great looking car, but I'm a Honda fanboy and the CTR would be more practical as a bonus ;)
I hope ppl realize that the integra type S likely won't be the same as the CTR. All of Acura's other Type S products were more on the...
Heres my list if I can't get the new CTR:
-GR Corolla
-GR 86
-low mileage FK8 CTR
I thought of maybe going to a low mileage Veloster N or a Golf R but I got a hard time seeing myself with a non-japanese car.
