I’m getting popcorn. Have you owned a 2.0T Accord or Type R?
I have and the motor is more similar than you know. DRob knows these platforms and has tuned the some of the fastest ones on the street and strip.
Where is that option to disable it? I’m thinking I might have one of those sensitive ECU’s and have the TSP stage 1 on my non Si. Happens after a few pulls.
I figured out on my own and not on purpose to let the CVT warm up. It didn’t like being floored below 130 degrees.
I will try what you recommended. I didn’t brake boost since I read it can cause damage to the transmission.
I came from a FBO on Flex Accord 2.0T 10AT and it was fun to brake boost.
So for everyone who was disappointed with the 11th gens performance I would highly suggest a KTuner to bring up the fun factor. This is a OTS tune with a PRL Stage 1 intake. $750 of go fast parts.
Dragy results from 2022 Civic Sport Touring CVT
This was in Sport mode and launched lightly. Weather was cooler and tires warmed up. Traction control on.
Almost forgot, AC was off this time.
Traction off was just massive wheel spin.
My best times with my Sport Touring CVT. KTuner Starter 21 Dual Tune Stage 2 and PRL Stage 1 intake. Also on Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2’s. Good runs on the Si ? I have an Aegean Blue Si being delivered beginning of January.
