  1. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Just got an update from the dealership, and @mbaapk was right! Turns out there was too much water in the gas. They suspect this was causing the latest codes, especially the cylinder 1 & 4 misfires. They're going to drain and re-fill.
  2. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Unfortunately, no update. The car has been at the dealership (First Texas Honda) since the 13th, and they still weren't sure what was the throwing the codes as of 2 days ago. I'll be sure to post updates here once they (hopefully) figure it out.
  3. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

Hi @Jester04. I didn't have time last night to gather logs and just dropped it off at the dealership this morning. I really appreciate you reaching out to help, though!
  4. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

The issue came back, same code P0507. Used MAF sensor cleaner, and cleared code yesterday. Now today it's throwing several codes: P0461 - fuel level sensor circuit range/performance P0300 - random/multiple cylinder misfire detected P0304 - cylinder 4 misfire detected P0301 - cylinder 1...
  5. Did a thing today... Resonator Delete

I decided not to go the front pipe route. I'm working with a muffler shop to pick out replacement tips (replacing the stock tips) and removing the other, smaller resonator next.
  6. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

My son cleaned the MAF sensor, and that seemed to resolve the issue. No more code or high RPMs while idling, and pops are back now in +R mode. Thanks, @pigfacedalarm.
  7. P0507 Code - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

This morning when I drove to work, I knew something was a little off. I have the Phearable tune with pops, and normally when I put it into +R mode, I consistently get pops, but not this time. Also, when I was at a stop, the idle RPMs seemed higher than usual. I plugged in the FlashPro and...
  8. FL5 Dual Resonator Delete

It was great when I first had it done. Now that I've gotten used to it, I want a little more volume from the exhaust. On my FK8, I had the Milltek non-resonated exhaust, which was a little too loud inside the cabin. I'm looking for something between what I have now (only the larger resonator...
  9. FL5 Dual Resonator Delete

Thanks for the video, @Loulerg. I currently have the larger (mid) resonator deleted, and now you've got me considering deleting the other one as well. You mentioned there's not much drone, but how loud is it inside the cabin?
  10. Pops & Bangs In FL5 Type R & Integra Type S | Hondata FlashPro Manager Latest Feature

For those interested in the pops and bangs feature along with purchasing an OTS tune, I bought both the TSP and Phearable FL5 tunes with pops enabled and thought I'd share some feedback. First of all, both tunes only enable pops when you're in +R mode (or if you have the Engine setting in...
  11. FL5 OEM Wheel Curb Rash Repair

I'm sure this is horrible advice, but I went full redneck and just used a Sharpie, and I thought it blended in very well.
  12. Phearable Stage 2 ECU tune review

TSP downpipe and other, probably irrelevant stuff (large resonator delete, valve open via fuse pull, sprint air filter). Thanks for the idea about checking for codes. I'll do that next time.
  13. Phearable Stage 2 ECU tune review

Hey there. I also recently purchased the Phearable tune with the ITS-equivalent pops & bangs. Have you noticed that the pops are only present for the first few minutes of driving, then it seems to go away (or get much quieter)? I sent them an email about this, and they responded: It sounds...
  14. Is it possible to revert to stock after jailbreaking ECU

I've tuned my last 4 Civics (2 of which were an FK8 and FL5) and had no issues. But my feedback is only my feedback, so thankfully @gtman created this awesome thread about tuning reliability...
  15. What did you do to your FL5 today?

Hit a softball-sized rock on the road this morning. Didn't have enough time to avoid it. Busted both right rims :( Thankfully, the damage only appears to be isolated to the wheels.
  16. Pops & Bangs In FL5 Type R & Integra Type S | Hondata FlashPro Manager Latest Feature

I just got the ECU unlocked and installed the Phearable tune, and I chose the "OEM Pops" option on Phearable's site, which, I suppose, is comparable to the Integra Type S. After putting the car in +R mode, it was working great for the first few minutes... poppin' and a bangin'. But after a...
  17. Downpipe/front pipe combo

I just ordered the Phearable tune a few days ago, and they added the pops & bangs option now.
  18. Head to head comparison of “off the shelf” tunes for a stock fl5 coming soon. (UPDATED WITH INTERIM RESULTS)

Eagerly awaiting results too... even partial results. My ECU was just shipped off to Hondata.
  19. Pops & Bangs In FL5 Type R & Integra Type S | Hondata FlashPro Manager Latest Feature

@Hondata This is awesome! I know people were asking for this, so thank you for providing it! Question - if you're in Individual mode, do the Pops & Bangs checkboxes for the different modes apply to the chosen Engine setting under Individual mode?
  20. Pixelated apple CarPlay

I only recently had the "location jumping around" issue like you said. It eventually picked up the correct location after a few minutes, though. I agree with what @blayed said... Waze gets messed up very frequently in Carplay (pixelation, messed up colors, etc) on the Civic. I prefer Waze...
