HAHAHA! Honestly I really do prefer the CTR look. It's the perfect blend of sporty, sleek, and mature. The ITS looks fine, but just having the trunk lip isn't enough on the rear. The only design portion I like more about the ITS are the headlights. They might start bolting some wings on ITS...

ITS is quite a bit better daily IMO. Significantly Better sound system, more comfortable seats, more comfortable suspension tuning. Parking sensors, auto folding mirrors, rain sensing wipers, parallel parking assist mirrors (mirrors automatically adjust down to see curbs). LED lights all...

All the K20C engines are made in the US, but all the car assembly and unique bodywork is all Japan. The ITS is build in America already, and the only real functional difference is the bodywork. It wouldn't be impossible to retool an American line to pickup production- but why would Honda stop...

Folding mirrors can be retrofitted pretty easy, mikstore has kits and they are not hard to install. Parking sensors can be refit, also from mikstore. You need to drill through the bumper and run harnesses. Not impossible, just a pain.

Import fees, emissions fees, VAT... all insane. And on top of all that- they get market adjustments because they are even more hard to come by. Used 2023s are going for 55k+ USD. The last new one I saw in the UK was listed at ~62k GBP (~84k USD) and it probably sold for close to that.

It's a shame because I personally prefer the CTR styling way above the ITS aside from the headlights. And the markup is going to go insane in the ITS once anyone gets any true signal the CTR is gone.

10 for UK... Which is probably close to how many UK got in 2025 so far ? I think they are saying a total of 40- I'm assuming that might be a total of 40 for all of Europe. Not sure what this spells for US market, this may leave US as the only holdout- but for how long?

Yup, funny enough you can't configure it. Just a 25 with all the options from factory instead of dealer installed.

https://www.motor1.com/news/761779/honda-civic-type-r-dead-europe/ Looks like Europe is going to get a handful of limited editions for 26 and that's it. Be ready for $120k price tag on it heh. No mechanical changes and not really a facelift, just paint and some trim pieces.

I feel like this is all but a confirmation that there wont be a MY 2026. Super limited imports like this usually come near the end of production and are usually production overages. India is probably going to get a dozen or so CTRs for the ultra wealthy- seeing as how it will cost 15 years the...

A few things- 1: It makes tuning... awful. All the hybrid systems out there have electric motor control separate of torque curves and such, and (so far) there is no way to tune it. Its pretty much based off of throttle amount at various speeds. The further you mod from stock, the more "out of...

To be fair, June and July is when most announcements happen from Honda, and Honda rarely "announces" carryover years. Just new models and refreshes. If the CTR carries over unchanged, you'll likely just see it in regularly released sales brochures and on the Honda website with little to no...

Japanese regulations. In 2026 the FL5 can’t be built or sold anymore, it doesn’t meet upcoming noise regulations for its weight class. It either needs to be 550lbs heavier, or have 80 more horsepower without making any more noise- all while maintaining the same gas mileage.
