Yesterday I was at the honda dealer and this service advisor came to me. He started asking me question regarding My FL5, during the conversation, He told me one of the main owners of the dealer was receiving a Yellow FL5. If is true, would be nice for who likes yellow. I seen the fl5 wrap on yellow and looks good. Not a fan personally.
Maybe the owner bought a used yellow fk8 from another dealer.

IMHO, yellow just does not look right on the FL5:

The will be dumb because, the service advisor was comparing it to My FL5
.
The only way they’re receiving a yellow FL5 is if they’re getting it wrapped. Not such thing coming from Honda. Can say that with 100% certainty.

LOL! There’s all kinds of things wrong there. Not saying I love yellow, but I also don’t dislike it. Check out the Spoon rendering that’s been around for a long time. Looks pretty awesome to me. The yellow looks correct, like Phoenix Yellow, too.

I prefer his in your face yellow to the Spoon mustard yellow.

Fortunately I'm happy with white or blue.

A FL5 would look sweet in the tonic yellow pearl from 2019

My philosophy on best color: "blend in and be least noticeable to CHP"...

over 20 years with no speeding tickets, if I exclude the 27 in a 25 on the local Navy base, given by a disgruntled officer who wanted to be a pain so they'll transfer him to a different duty station...

I do drive aggressively (or is it assertively) and as fast as I can when I believe it is safe (i.e. all the time), but I never "video game styled driving":

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is deploying a new generation of low-profile, specially marked patrol vehicles (SMPV). These Doge Durangos are outfitted with a Hemi V8 engine, a police pursuit package, concealed emergency lighting, and a low-profile version of the CHP logo on their doors.

June is nearly upon us and still not a word on the 2026? :hmm:
To be fair, June and July is when most announcements happen from Honda, and Honda rarely "announces" carryover years. Just new models and refreshes.

If the CTR carries over unchanged, you'll likely just see it in regularly released sales brochures and on the Honda website with little to no announcement in September or October. If it gets a facelift (extremely unlikely) we will probably hear about it June or July. Otherwise, if there is a new model- probably wont see anything until MY2027 or later.

I still strongly hold there wont be a 2026. The Next CTR we see will likely be an uptuned 2 liter NA hybrid- or a downtuned 2 liter turbo hybrid. Right now all we have is speculation, but all the signs point towards this being the likely scenario.

A high revving hybrid wasn't on my radar. But hybrid to assist off the line and then 9k rpm redline could be fun lol.
