Civic Type R refresh / facelift confirmed for 2026

If the rumor posted in this thread is true, then the 2026 model year is only gonna run for about 5-6 months, which is odd.

It is definitely odd, but only because we’re later than usual to get the 2026 MY. Maybe this simply means they’ll continue to build the facelift on the same sort of offset/delayed timeline. It’d be weird, but if it is indeed the last of its kind, then I can understand taking the “championship lap” slowly.
