I dont think they can do much given the regulations and tbh with the TCX most of the modifications done to it are really minor.
Fair enough, the jump in pricing from FL5 to ITS is pretty big so it'll probably be the same
Im just more interesting in HRC finally opening up a parts catalog where...
It wont be +$150k lol. They already have a turn key race car variant of this and its less than that ($120k). Its two steps below a GT4 (GT4 > TCR > TC) so its a bit cheaper and more close to the roading going ITS. If they ever do sell this my guess would be that it would around $70k or $80k. If...
This is honestly how it should be kinda crazy the OEMs will sell gimped 'track ready' cars and not offer the parts that the car needs to be truly track ready thats on race variant.
I remember asking HRC (was HPD) about the FK8 TC and where to buy some of the parts like the oil coolers and...
Wow this looks amazing. My assumption is that since they are doing this, they aren't going to do one for the Type R, this is probably going to be the 'FL5 LE' of this generation.
Really regret not going to the TC America Sebring this year, but it seems like this is basically the street version...
Yeah idk. It actually has me thinking how cars the oil temperature work with other cars. My Mustang has readings but it doesn't have a sandwich plate or a sensor attached to the oil pan so Im not sure how accurate the reading actually is.
I saw a comparison of a ITS and CTR the guy was saying he has that problem with the ITS has and he appreciated the active sound because its way louder and more noticeable on the CTR.
Wow that looks amazing. Its really great that its separated so that it wont impede any airflow to the radiator. Also those vents on the fender are really ingenious. I believe you mentioned that you were going to do a secondary radiator at some time any ideas on where that will go?
Any reason...
I actually have the book referenced in that article. I'll attach a pdf of Chapter 9 which has everything about cooling and discuses oil coolers. (I'll also do the full book took) I have no idea who this guy is lol but this information is pretty relevant to the discussion, seems legit to me.
It...
Is there something about the designs that makes one objectively better? I get that some are made for space so a smaller one is going to probably have a less cooling effect than a bigger one but was wondering if there is a difference in material that matters or is it simply just more rows = more...
