I can’t say for sure with the 11th Gen Type R, but the spare tire kit raised the floorboard and never really sat flush in my 10th Gen Type R. Not to mention the Type R cargo tray was also a bit off.
It appears production of the 11th Generation Civic Hatchback and Type R may be moving to North America. Now, whether that’s Canada, U.S., or Mexico is still left up for question.
