  1. Low ball trade in offers

Exactly my thought lol. My car is currently financed at 2.8% and I got it back in October 2021. I thought that was high.
  2. Low ball trade in offers

Ive never seen rates this high for cars (Im 41) - when were they higher than 6-6.5% for a new car? And what were they?
  3. 2023 Civic Type R (FL5) U.S. Pricing: $42,895 MSRP

Plus its best to wait anyways to flesh out issues on a first MY car.. although with the motor being, for the most part, the same I am not sure if that really applies here.
  4. What did you pay for your FL5?

Me either. I don't usually bother with them anymore and just buy my cars in Ohio.. although I did get a good deal twoish years ago on my 2020 WRX.
  5. What did you pay for your FL5?

Yep or ohnoess my type r has really stiff suspension. Time to sell it 🤣.
  6. What did you pay for your FL5?

Therr are 5 dealers around Cincinnati that have them in transit. All of them have $10k mark-ups except for Florence. They want $20k. Lol... Id be okay paying $3k to $5k ADM but only if they included accessories or tint/ppf. The dealer in Florence told me their civic sports are selling at 45k.
  7. The 2022 Honda Civic Si Joins The Dealer Price Markup Circus - Article

OMFG thats more than what I paid for my Type R. People are crazy as hell.
  8. 2022 Si compared in new WRX review

With my '20 WRX I would usually get 22 mpg driving 70% on the highway.. I took a road trip and averaged 25mpg purely driving on the highway. My CTR gets 32 highway and 26 combined on the same route as the WRX and is 10000xs more fun to drive.
  9. Savagegeese reviews 2022 Civic Hatchback 6-Speed | It May Save You

Interesting! I had no idea lol. I keep rags in my car for the sole purpose of wiping the mirrors :-|.
  10. Savagegeese reviews 2022 Civic Hatchback 6-Speed | It May Save You

Jokes aside I do miss having heated mirrors.
  11. Savagegeese reviews 2022 Civic Hatchback 6-Speed | It May Save You

Because the 10th gen SI really was such a good value for price/performance/features.
  12. Si firm ride. No adaptive dampers

I never noticed any difference in the ride on my 2018 Si with regard to normal vs sport. Now the CTR I notice in all 3 modes.
  13. How would you fix the 2022 Civic Si?

Add heated seats Remove auto/start stop (if it did get this..) Bump power to 230hp/trq and upgrade the clutch to make it more "tuner proof" (compared to the 10th gen) I like the styling..
  14. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

My most fun cars have been my 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS, 1992 Mazda Miata, 2016 Fiesta ST, 2008 Honda S2000, 2020 WRX, and my Type R that I have now. The GTI (both that I had) had the DSG transmission and was pleasant to drive but just bored me, aside from its (both had problems) mechanical...
  15. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

I had a mk6 and mk7.5 .. the mk6 had a few water pump replacements and my mk7.5 gti had a bad turbo that VW absolutely refused to even diagnose.. I was getting ready to go to my 3rd dealer visit for the no boost issue after talking to corporate and the service person told me if the CEL wasnt...
  16. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

I remember it too, but I thought it was more because the type s got the 200hp motor while the ep3 got the same 160hp as the base rsx.
  17. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

LOL growing up I had no interest in driving.. My second car was a '01 Subaru Impreza RS and the local car group I would meet up with introduced me to autocross... that was how it all started and it went downhill from there $$$ mods $$$$ tires $$$$$$ changing cars like underwear...
  18. Does any1 feel Honda will finally listen, and the 11th gen Si will be a huge improvement power wise?

Yeah the stock all seasons suck for straight line acceleration unless its warm and dry out. However, they arent bad for cornering in the dry. Just throw some rain down and its time to drive like grandma. I miss the tires I had on my Fiesta ST - "BFGoodrich G-Force comp-2 A/S". What was messed...
