Not an expert, but I think the knock control is based on the type of gas you put in and heat? My K Con is always around .49 on cold temps and normal driving. Once I start flooring it, the K Con goes up to like .50-.60ish on multiple pulls. I have not seen it go past .70 as of yet.
I know mine isn't a Type R but, the seat squeak/creaking is a common issue on this gen. I had to have mine replaced after multiple visits to the dealer. At first, they just lubed all the rails and etc under the seat, and only temporarily solved the issue. Then, went to dealer again and they...

I never use the wireless charging from the car. It does work but charges slowly. I use my own cables to charge. Besides, I cannot use it anymore because I added some organizers on that compartment to organize things so the phone wont fit there.
That is some serious flaw... basically anyone with those radio tools can unlock and remote start the car.. Not even a tinfoil/aluminum bag is going to protect it because old codes will still work to unlock the car.
Mine is actually not accurate by maybe 1-2 mpg. Every fill up I reset the trip and then I calculate it manually by dividing the total miles of trip by the amount of gallon filled up. So if it digitally says 30 mpg, in real life it would be around 28-29.
I visited about 5 dealers here in South Florida and only one of them charged me MSRP + taxes and fees. They also added some accessories about $499 for the "dent protection". I couldn't take it off but whatever I got a good deal on selling my car on CarMax and wasn't going to say no on charging...
Ugh just did a 300 mile road trip and driving around 60-70mph the passenger side there's an annoying rattle. Don't know exactly where it's coming from.
JB4 is definitely untraceable once you take it off. I had it installed when I had my Q50. I used to take it off when going for oil change at dealership but since I knew the service advisor, I did not take it off anymore.
I do not have rattles on the vents but on the A Pillar area. It gets annoying sometimes but it does not rattle always... Really do not feel like taking my car to dealer for such small thing to waste couple hours there.
I have the Sport Touring edition with all the bells and whistles. I did add an aftermarket lumbar support for my driver seat since it did not have any lumbar support. I got it from Amazon for about $46 and it matches well with the seat.
I just got my sport touring couple days ago and so far with 300 miles in, I am averaging 24-25 mpg city. I am expecting better MPG for city maybe 28-29 mpg, but lets see what happens after break in period.
Yeah definitely not paying over MSRP for a civic… can definitely wait but how long is the question xD. The new hatchback is really nice but not worth the asking price from the dealers in SouthFL. I definitely would’ve gotten it at MSRP.
I went to a Honda dealer today in South Florida and they had one Hatchback Sport Touring coming next week and they were asking close to 34k before TTL. That’s just too much for a CIVIC… I do one want though xD.
