Yep, only works on models with a sunroof. The sunroof structure is where the sunglass holder unit fastens to the car. Not to mention, the FL5 headliner curves up sharply before the end of the unit. So it won't work even if you did something like epoxy fasteners to the room or something like that.
I have to check that out. Had the Honda pen for the SI and it was a bitch to work with. I only have a couple chips after 10k miles, but I want to touch them up since they are on metal parts.
You can PPF parts of the car and you'll end up finding a chip in the one spot you skipped. This is a $45k dollar car, wasn't worth it to me to spend 15%+ of the price of the car on full PPF.
Lol, I daily it, but work from home. So most of my driving is for fun and there are a lot of twistie roads and long on ramps around here. It is definitely the brake vectoring. The more you push it around the twisties, the more you'll eat those brakes. She rotates well and if I have to buy...
My rear pads were down to almost metal at 9k miles. Up by you there are a lot of twistie roads and driving them hard will eat rear brake pads. I saw that Advanced had Brembo OEM replacements. I grabbed them for about 60 something dollars. They also had Carquest rotors with painted hats for...
Scummy move to run credit first. Hoping to lock you in by putting an inquiry on your credit report. That could cost you some interest percentage at the next dealership.
A bunch of west coast events just passed and they are doing the east coast now. There are also tuning shops that can do it like IMW. My statement wasn't specific to California.
PRL is also CARB compliant (They'll send you the CARB sticker if you don't have it)
Most people aren't going to require that amount of airflow. I wouldn't want to have to be locked into tuning if I didn't have to be. PRL intake and a local Hondata jailbreak event means you don't need to ship...
Definitely PRL. Cobb requiring a tune is an automatic disqualification for me. Some folks are just looking for some turbo noises and don't want to tune a new car still under warranty.
I have ramps and still need a pair of 2 x 12 to get onto the ramps with to avoid damage to the front bumper and I'm not lowered. Even have larger than OEM diameter tires.
I've seen that AWE seems to spend their efforts doing damage control and blowing smoke up everyone's asses on the forums, rather than dealing with customer issues.
I did this mod, looks great. Got a climate control from an HRV on eBay for like 40 bucks. These are not special knobs and are stock on a bunch of models so they are fairly easy to find. Still waiting on a good infotainment solution.
