Ben, did you have the ITS ADS module installed in your car? I have it and it makes +R (and other modes) a helluva lot less bouncy. Probably more suitable for less than smooth tracks.

With my STIs you could definitely hear induction noises and BPV when you put an intake on, but I never heard a high pitch noise. Just wooshing sounds and pshhh!

I've had an '05 and an '08 STI with various intakes, never heard that in my life! So will all intakes make this sound? Was thinking of the PRL HVI with the enclosure.

For those that are struggling with the 10mm seat bolt, try folding the seat back forward 45 degrees. Makes it easier to take out and put back in.

Specifically, in Azkyrie's guide the center trim is removed, I presume this needs to be done on the ITS? I have an annoying buzz in the dash (I believe it's behind the speedo) I'm trying to fix. It happens at around 2,000-2300 RPM. I'm guessing there is no other way to get behind there...
