  1. Is it time to say hello to Type R and bye to S2000? Need Help!

Tesla and s2k is a way better 2 car lineup then CTR and Tesla. Keep the s2k, the CTR will be available for years to come. Unless you're willing to go CTR+ s2k, but doesn't sound like it.
  2. First FL5 oil change mileage?

I just found out that my free oil change from my local Honda dealership was with semi synthetic 0w20. Have others experienced this as well? No wonder it's free.... Changing that shit out soon
  3. Best First Mod for FL5

Not in my experience, no. Some have stated that they feel a little more roughness at initial takeoff, but there's no concrete evidence to support it.
  4. Is it time to say hello to Type R and bye to S2000? Need Help!

Keep both, they compliment each other exceptionally well
  5. I got the FL5 a little friend!

Congrats! I have the same combo but an AP2.
  6. LogR oil temp not reading!!!

Nothing mechanical at all, as that is just a calculated value. That's happened to me once our twice, usually after a full cycle off and then on again solves it
  7. FL5 Track Considerations

If you're a beginner, you can absolutely use the stock brake setup without any issues, just make sure to do the pedal dance to turn off the rear brake vectoring. As you increase your skills, it's wise to move up to better fluid and pads for sure, but to all those track rookies who just got...
  8. JDM vs USDM Differences

Any pictures of the JDM rear tail lights? I didn't know about that
  9. MHI stage 2 finally installed

Awesome but please get a proper camera mount and keep 2 hands on the wheel.
  10. Trans Fluid - when to replace?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm leaning towards using GM syncromesh w/ friction modifier, is the below part # the correct one? Also I think I read 2qts is fine, but lmk if I need more. ACDelco GM Original Equipment 10-4014 Friction Modified Synchromesh Transmission Fluid, 32 Ounce...
  11. Best aftermarket exhaust system that can be easily converted back to stock.

Also - maybe it's just placebo , however now that my car has 12k miles, I feel like the exhaust has gotten a little louder. I've been running flap fuse pulled for the majority of the time too.. Do others notice this?
  12. Is anyone producing a wing delete kit yet

Yep, as long as you don't have championship white, all other colors exist on the sport hatch as well
  13. Low Turbo Pressure as a Result of Tuning

Aftermarket intake is probably not helping
  14. Low Turbo Pressure as a Result of Tuning

I would go back to stock parts and see if that solves it, and then add one by one parts from there
  15. Trans Fluid - when to replace?

Currently at 12k miles on my type R and wanted to get the consensus for when to change out the trans fluid? I've done 2 track days and then besides that, just normal commuter driving with occasional spirited weekend drives. Reason for asking, I have found recently that the shifting isn't as...
  16. Is it just me, or is the aftermarket for the FL5 kind of lame?

Yep these exhaust 'headifold' type setups of most new turbo 4cyl makes none of them that appealing sound wise imo.. One mod I'd love to see (not sure how feasible it is), is a manual hand brake!
  17. Is it just me, or is the aftermarket for the FL5 kind of lame?

Perhaps that's part of it - the car is so perfect stock, everything maxed out, that it's harder to justify modding this thing.
  18. Is it just me, or is the aftermarket for the FL5 kind of lame?

Super lame, aftermarket isn't what it used to be. For a variety of reasons too imo. I think the GR Corolla and Golf R have more support. This is all from the guy that's staying stock and done modding, but still cool to see strong aftermarket support.
  19. Coolant Temperature Amber Color (183 fahrenheit)?

Nothing, you just have your alert temp set too low ,as 183 is perfectly normal. There's a setting within the Log R app to adjust your limit values on oil and coolant temps
