That is the online debate and my thought process is i would rather be provactive than reactive. There is no harm in adding a catch can, just a bit more work for maintenance but I'm ok with that.

I wouldn't recommend forcing the collar down like that. Chances are you will break the clips in the silver collar and the collar will come loose everytime you shift.
Im not sure because I haven't installed the turbo yet but im sure at 400whp you spin in fourth. It really comes down to tire specs, tuning, traction tuning etc.
