Yours looks pretty good! I saw that Raceseng makes a collar that they claim hides all the wrinkles near the top, but I like the quick-change "pull to release" feature that the Acuity provides.

Ok I figured it out: use two zip ties to attach the Acuity collar to the Overland Designs shift boot. Love the final result, and now I have easy access to the nut for easy swapping of the shift knob.
