Nice @Chilly613 ! I'm interested in hearing how you make out on this one, it's on my list to order along with the paddle lights (which may be a stretch for me).

So far, I've installed the auto-dimming mirror, the illuminated door sills, and the illuminated cup & console lights. BHJ is in the middle of shipping me the door handle & door pocket illumination accessory (should have in a couple days), which I'm a little nervous about installing. I found the PDF instructions for them, but still unsure about the ease of install.

I remember coming across the tailgate light install PDF thinking that one seemed really involved, so it was placed low on my list. I rarely ever even open my tailgate :dunno:
Theres a whole thread somewhere with all the install instructions. I've done it before on my FL1, its not hard to do, just a little tedious with running the harness through the hatch and zip tying everything.

Do you know when will this be released?

Wunderladen hooked us up with a PMM (Street Bushing) for my FL5 so I could put some miles on it before release and share my impressions. I held off posting until I had proper seat time with it.

Install was straightforward. @Thusee had the factory mount out and the PMM installed in about an hour. You just need to move the coolant reservoir out of the way to access the mounting bolts. Fitment was spot-on.

It’s now been on the car for just over a month and around 900 miles. I’m also running the COBB RMM, so this is based on the double-mount setup rather than the PMM alone. On a 1–10 NVH scale, with 1 being barely noticeable and 10 being unbearable, I’d put the full setup at about a 4. The COBB RMM alone is around a 2 for me, while the Wunderladen RMM is closer to a 2.5. With the PMM added, I can feel it when driving spiritedly and rowing through the gears, but during normal commuting there’s no constant buzzing or rattling. It’s still very livable for daily use.

An RMM already does a great job reducing drivetrain slop and ON/OFF throttle lurch, but the PMM takes it a step further. The biggest difference is how much more direct 1–2 feels, while 2–6 are buttery smooth now. The Acuity shifter is great, but this made the shifts feel more connected overall. I don't do it often but when we went for a test-drive post-install I made a WOT pull in 1st all the way to 6.5K, grabbed 2nd and it was just solid! I often wind out 2-3-4, and they're great too.

We still haven’t swapped the factory Honda MTF for Amsoil Synchromesh or installed cable linkage bushings. Both helped a bit on my FK8, but the PMM alone has made a bigger difference than those two mods combined. We will get to these on the FL5 at a later time.

Overall, I’m really happy with the PMM. The Wunderladen TMM will eventually make its way onto the car too, but even as it sits now, the car feels noticeably more connected with very little downside.

Got started on installing the JDM LED tailgate light. I'm glad on the FL5 where you need to drill and cut were already molded into the panel. When I did this on my FL1, the panel did not have any of that molded into the panel and I had to use the paper template that came with the kit.

Still need to wire up the harness, should hopefully be able to do that tomorrow.

Tailgate LED harness is installed. Not a hard install, just very tedious with the number of panels to remove, fishing the harness through the hatch and zip tying everything.

How was the fitment? I ordered one with the red/black carbon and the fitment was awful. Tossed it in the trash it was so bad. I still want an official Spoon but can stomach the cost.

Oh no I ordered the red/black carbon also . It’s almost been two months now that I been waiting for it in the mail. It’s on the way though. I got it to match my spoiler and mirror caps. I read before buying people got it to fit with a little modification. What was wrong with yours ? Hope I don’t have any issue .

Mine was pretty good, but like all CF some need small adjustments to make it fit well, on this one i had to shave a small area around the left side screw, so when i tightened it down it closes the gap.

Before: you can see a small gap on the Passenger side

After months of searching and three failed attempts, I finally tracked down a set of OEM forged wheels. Got them mounted this morning. I'm a big fan. I've been running +45 Titan7 wheels for years now. I forgot how much better the +60 feels on power. There isn't much torque steer with a +45, but with +60 there is zero, even when running 35 sidewall tires.
