  1. What is everyone using for lug nuts?

Yep, steel is probably the most durable option. I think that McGard, Gorilla, Canadian Lug Nuts, and Kyo-Ei are all steel.
  2. What is everyone using for lug nuts?

Oh, you're in Canada! You should check out Canadian Lug Nuts! They ship to Canada and the U.S. https://canadianlugnuts.ca/
  3. What is everyone using for lug nuts?

For OEM Honda type wheels, I recommend the same. My Kyo-Ei R40 iConix with the floating seats are awesome. They have been working great on my heavy OEM Honda Pilot HPD wheels, and I have a second set for my OEM Honda Modulo Shark Gray Forged 10 spoke wheels. For my aftermarket MITA...
  4. What's the best money you've spent on your car that wasn't a power mod?

Thanks for these links! It's really obnoxious that we pay this premium for the most expensive retail Honda on the market, and we get jipped off with things like no reasonable place to store sunglasses, and a horn that belongs on a Honda Monkey. I've been considering the Honda FL5 Euro horn...

Mine's more of a "Beaver Bomb"...
  6. What's the best money you've spent on your car that wasn't a power mod?

OEM sunglasses holder... How? Where? How do I get this and where do I install it?

Moar Unicorn parts! Half of these parts don't even look like they are made on Earth. Where do you get this stuff... Mars?
  8. Texas 4X OEM FL5 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires for sale

Happy Summer, Y'all! I still got 'em, nice and cool, inside the house, with the AC chillin. June Price Drop. $740.00 for 4 tires.

Hmm... 🤔 Maybe I should make an account myself. I certainly could use the extra disposable income. Not that I should, but I certainly could. "MidLifeFeet", perhaps? So that's cool that the cam upgrades will give you that rev overhead "peace of mind" while still being street practical...

Wow, this is pretty impressive. Not gonna ask where you get the Lucci for all these unicorn parts. Is there any chance you took your FL5 for a Dyno run before getting this cam work installed? It would be interesting to see before and after with HP and torque, although we already have...
  11. factory included tire repair kit

Hmm... that's unfortunate. Looks like you should have used an angle grinder. That probably would have done the trick. Definitely would have given you the cleanest possible cuts, for sure. No fuss. No mess.
  12. The Importance of Carrying a Full Size Matching Spare Wheel & Tire

I emptied out my trunk to see about utilizing the space underneath the trunk / boot floor for the scissor jack set and tools. HA! This space is criminally shallow. I'm pretty sure that pothole on 610 was deeper than this. I am able to fit one really BIG part of my tool kit under the...
  13. factory included tire repair kit

Hmm, $50.00 US to buy a minimal foam tray specifically for the scissor jack kit? Could be worth it if added to another order. You could always add that piece of foa -- uhh, I mean, "Box Assembly Tool" (naming convention much, Honda?) to your Blackhawk Japan Wishlist, especially if you are...
  14. factory included tire repair kit

Hi! Welcome to the CivicXI forum. Good to see another Texan join us here. Do you mean this thing...? I'm not even completely sure what this pump is capable of accomplishing, since, as you can see, mine is still in its plastic packaging. After nearly 18 months with my FL5 CTR, I have not...
  15. The Importance of Carrying a Full Size Matching Spare Wheel & Tire

I didn't know there were different Editions! 🤙 Now I wonder if Honda is gonna release a Special Edition Box Set some day... 🤔
  16. The Importance of Carrying a Full Size Matching Spare Wheel & Tire

Received my Honda scissor jack kit.
  17. The Importance of Carrying a Full Size Matching Spare Wheel & Tire

Thanks. Yeah I suppose I should take the car to get it inspected for any potential damage. Not sure what could have happened exactly. I'm thinking of maybe an independent collision center instead of the dealership. Any alleged, of course, definitely non legal, advice there?
  18. White on White on White CTR

Hi Phuong, Shout out to Jay for providing that scissor jack! I don't want to be a "Jack"ass and totally high"Jack" your thread, but regarding your comment at @ 2:48, AND considering what happened to me this past Saturday in Houston, I'd like to recommend you have your own full size spare and...
  19. What did you haul in your Type R today?

For anyone who is interested in these Pilot HPD wheels, keep in mind, you WILL NEED at least 20mm spacers in order to clear the FL5 front brake caliper. I kinda wish I had gone with 25mm spacers, to be honest. They would square up the wheels to the corners just right. Live and Learn...
  20. What did you haul in your Type R today?

That's how I feel about my Honda (by Enkei) Pilot HPD Bronze wheels. They are heavy, thiccc, and seem to be pretty tough, after this past Saturday.
