  1. The Tuned 11th gen Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Bruh. You need to chill. Im just documenting my experiences. Why are you getting your panties in a bunch? So emotional.
  2. MY2027 Paused for Civic Si

Its amazing how strongly people identify with metal boxes on wheels. These companies don't care about you as much.
  3. The Tuned 11th gen Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I did some test driving with early spool off. I like it. Throttle is not as sensitive, but it revs out stronger up top. With early spool, 1st and 2nd gear were kind of useless as it would break traction, and run out of steam quickly, but without early spool, first 2 gears feel longer(if it...
  4. The Tuned 11th gen Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Ive been running early spool since day 1. Didnt hear anything about it when i emailed them. Im going to reflash tonight and see how it runs without early spool. Did he say why they dont reccomend it? Even with early spool, it doesnt feel super punchy down low.
  5. MY2027 Paused for Civic Si

My next car will be a type r, so it's ok.
  6. MY2027 Paused for Civic Si

12th Gen civic due in 2027? I'm not surprised after the prototype reveal.

  8. Rev Hang - deep dive

Have you adjusted your clutch pedal? After installing wunderladen racing clutch pedal bushing, i adjusted my pedal per hondas instruction. It surprisingly made a big difference in shift feel, and although Rev hang shouldn't be affected by it, I can shift much quicker and smoother. Im running...
  9. Decided to buy Si

Meh. Si was never meant to be for clout chasers. With some minor tweaks, its a fun reliable daily driver. It's comical how much hate this car gets. Parts are relatively cheap, and it's easy to diy. I'm running mine til the wheels fall off.
  10. OEM Spark Plug Part Number?

Swapped out my plugs at 31k miles, tuned since 17k. I used to change them once a year on my tuned 10th gen. Didn't even realize how worn they were, but I'm glad I swapped them out. Throttle response is much better now; I don't have to go wot nearly as much.
  11. Is a head gasket really an issue?

11th gen si l15ca head is the exact same head on problematic 1.5t accord. I haven't had any issues on my 10th Gen civic with nearly 150k miles, so if I make it that far on my 11th Gen, I'll be ok. If it blows, I can diy it.
  12. Crystal Black or Urban Gray Si?

    Anything but black.
  13. Decided to buy Si

    Type r no question.
  14. Where’s the Aero?

I once saw an fl5 driving past me on the other side of high way. It looked like a hovercraft compared to base model civics. 4 inches wider and it shows.
  15. ⚠️ Weird noise after Clutch and Headstuds ⚠️

How many miles did you have on the original clutch? Did it slip at all? How did it look when it was out? Also, how was your original headgasket looking?
  16. Whiteline 22mm rear sway bar and FK8 CTR front springs installed.

On the si and type r's rear bushings add a lot of stiffness to rear suspension. 11th Gen si has stiffer springs than fl5, but I reckon fl5 has stiffer bushings. Bushings add extra spring rates, people generally dont account for. Once I installed eibach rear camber arm and lower control arm with...
  17. The Tuned 11th gen Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Dyno could just be reading low. Its not always about the numbers. Do you have a dragy?
  18. The Tuned 11th gen Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

Are you maxed out on fueling? 27won stated 300hp range easily. Sounds kinda low. Makes me yhink i should just save up and trade in for fl5.
