Hello everyone, new to the forum, picked up a 2024 CBP Si back in July. I owned an eight gen (2008) Civic Si coupe and after many years decided I missed owning a Honda and decided to come back. Absolutely love it so far!
Here are a few pics of my 8th gen, it went through multiple iterations (Stock silver, then in a CorSport USA paint job back when I was sponsored by CorSport many years and a few owners ago, then finally with its blue wrap) it was at one point running a custom turbo kit with a Garrett GTX3076r making just shy of 500whp, then it had a custom Jackson Racing Rotrex kit making 416whpβ¦β¦this was definitely in my βyoungerβ days and some of the design decisions were a tad questionable
. This was mostly a street car with occasional trips to the drag strip.
After I sold the 8th gen I grew up a bit and decided to do things a bit more OEM+ vs full on early 2000s Fast and The Furious tuner and picked up a 2017 Mazda Miata Club, that I modified for scca, nasa and local track days, time attack and autoX, had a great time with this car and became a much better driver, ironically with all the mods this car only made 170ish whp but was actually way more fun than the high horsepower Civic.
After 3-4 years without a personal car I finally made my way back to Honda, and thats where my 2024 Civic Si comes in. I plan to do a OEM+ type of build with it, stay tuned for updates in this thread.
I am also in to bikes, here is my 2019 Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 that I did a custom wrap on that have since sold, and my current bike, a 2024 Triumph Street Triple RS.
