Yeah, the only reason I mentioned that at all is that I feel like a ton of people are getting crazy FOMO and are making poor financial decisions over this huge emotional, nostalgia play for CTRs and ITS', along with the sunsetting of ICE manuals.

People need to know that they're going to be alright even if they dont get one LOL. Financial stability in most of Canada is highly questionable atm.

Agreed. It would also help me in also attaining said CTR/ITS LOL

All seriousness, some people on the forums got on BoostLag for talking about the financial burden buying frankly anything has on people nowadays, but he was right. Buying a car may not be the most financial responsible thing we can do at this point, but seeing all the Tesla Models 3 and Y's in my area or people buying million dollar homes leads me to believe people don't seem to care one way or another. I will say, I am concerned about how things are going to look 3-5 years from now.

People have been conditioned and addicted to cheap money, instant gratification, and projecting superficial perceptions for some time. The party will come to an end royally for a big chunk of the population in the coming years. Repos and foreclosures aren't letting up.

I guess the next potential shipment of cars is coming in the fall. Maybe ‘24 models? Anyone hear anything?

Apologies if I missed this in the 137 pages but, how difficult is it and what is the cost to buy a Type R in the United States and import it to Canada?

I believe you'd have to buy it outright without financing and do some paperwork to get it over. I know some people did this for the rs3.

I looked into doing it and at the time, the cost to buy would be almost the equivalent of buying at MSRP plus taxes here in Ontario. BUT you have to paying the registration fees and I believe Ontario taxes to complete the purchase. There are loopholes but not sure it’s worth the hassle.

Seemingly so, considering we don't have to wait for boat to cross the Pacific and then train across country lol. Though it does look like there's some delivery delays happening for our ITS brother and sisters now.

Interesting. Wpg dealer was supposed to get 3 a year, and only has received one so far. I also wonder if any suspension tuning might be in the works for MY24 or later, based on the only criticism that seems to be out there regarding it being a bit too stiff... or maybe an upgraded exhaust or a few more HP like the ITS.

why would they make it more like the ITS when they are charging 7k for the upgraded package?

I do think the future year models will be up charged, but dont expect any added features or changes. Then Honda will look bad by shooting the early adopters for taking the first batches.

I had one sales guy at my dealership say they hadn't received any, while another told me, and I was able to confirm , that they got 2/3 this year. Got the see their second one in last week. Might be who you're talking to.

I doubt any changes for MY24. It's too soon. If they do, it'll be MY25 and considering it's a 3 year run, there might not be any changes at all. I'm leaning towards none at all.
