Civic Type R Racing Black Package Parts

The Racing Black Package is up on the Honda Japan website as of several weeks ago. The web page includes catalog information along with a teaser video, 360° view, main equipment list and other information.

JDM Yamato has also posted the OEM Structure Diagram listing many of the parts (i.e., black front and rear seat covers, black HVAC control dials, steering wheel, dash, door cards, etc.) for anyone interested in picking up parts.

IDK. Honda could have initially had black as the default and later released a Racing Red package. Red is more exciting. It's good to have options.

I would get this package if I was buying new. First thing I thought of modding was seat covers for front. Even before exhaust. Too much red. Reminds me of the red velvet furniture in the 60s. I understand red is the theme color in the R model, however some seam striping would have been perfect. JMHO
