Been through all the settings, am able to minimize it but would prefer to completely disable it. Is there a way to eliminate it using a scanner tool?

Never mind, just found it in this forum. Honda put it out - how to use or disable RDM. Very simple

I THINK you can turn it off by using the right side scroll wheel on the steering wheel to locate safety settings and then you can turn it off but I might be wrong.
