My first mod was adding a Mishimoto PCV catch can occupying the same real estate as most strut bars, so I'll pass. Also not sure FL5 strut bar effects are noticeable, since the firewall is the rear of the tower.

I've had other cars where strut towers were well forward of the firewall and strut bars definitely made a difference in feel.

It makes a difference, but it will be a very personal experience. I like the feel—it slightly increases the steering wheel feedback and rigidity, and the dampening effect increases by sharing the load across the front struts. It feels more structurally rigid but softer at the same time. My full write-up was posted here: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threa...rut-bar-installation-experience-on-fl5.54647/

Ultraracing, theirs is elevated so can get to components like catch cans, etc easily.

Mine is from Ultra Racing. I really like that it’s one solid piece. It’s also designed in a way that it’s not blocking the battery or the brake fluid reservoir cap when compared to other struts out there, as it sits high and towards the firewall. It only comes in white, so it was a no brainer for me to pair this with my car. Very clean look and implements a good contrast in the engine bay.
