Welcome. I honestly love this car. It really is the GT3 of hot hatches. Enjoy.

For the record, I never planned on modding mine but already obsessed with making it my own. I’d recommend getting the ITS ADS unit. Best money I ever spent.

I hear that a lot, what's that mean exactly?

I drove a 2001 Type R once, and absolutely loved it - partly the engine sound (RIP) but also because it felt so solid, like it was forged out of an aluminum block, and the near telepathic steering response, and how you could feel everything through the steering wheel and the seat.

Is the FL5 like this?

Really easy. There’s a couple of videos on YouTube that will help you. Biggest pain for me was getting one from the US to Australia. Acura won’t post outside of the US.

A few motoring journalists have said this and I get what they mean. It’s an analogue, visceral car to drive. Dialled in steering, lots of feedback and more about engagement than outright pace.

Yea that's a big plus of new

If you do want extended warranty check out Hyannis Honda. They sell Honda care extended much cheaper than most dealers. They just need the vin. I picked up 8 year 120k mile for like $1k I think. Dirt cheap. I just wanted peace of mind even on my modified type r
I ended up buying one from Succucci Honda! 8 years 100k for Hondacare. Went with them as I could buy it by clicking the link. Thanks for the input!
