Mirror tilt is handy for parallel parking, but not good for reversing out of regular parking spots. My TL mirror had a button to select tilt and I don't see a button with this kit.
I rarely parallel park, but the backup camera guidelines are handy in those situations.

Funny enough, one of the posters in that thread made a button to toggle it on or off for that exact reason.

I wonder if you can retrofit a oem passenger side window and switch into the newer cars. I use mirror tilt for reverse parking because the backup lines are a little off.

I want this because sometimes I can't back in straight into a spot if my life depends on it.

Glad they updated the harness so I don't have to repin the connectors, but man I have to remove the a-pillar again. Might as well buy a handful of those one-use clips.

Anybody find an OE switch to use instead of a drill-in button?

Also, trying to follow the discussion, did the controller end up in the door or headliner where the rear view mirror is?

If you do both passenger and driver mirrors, one controller kit per door, reverse signal going through both a-pillars to the reverse signal at auto dim mirror, and then also an enable switch by the driver footwell?
