There was some people complaining about the smell after catch can install. Mishimoto is working on a newer version of the hoses.

These have come in and out of stock so much in recent months. I doubt they are an old batch.

installed mine a couple days ago, so far no fuel or oil smell coming into the cabin. it looks like it may have been fixed

It's been over a year since I had mine installed. Truthfully, perhaps I am not pushing my car enough but I am barely getting anything in the can. Only a few milliliters per oil change. Better in there than circulating through my engine though!
