2.0L Muffler and body contact

I have an Invidia exhaust on my 2024 Civic 2.0 hatchback. The muffler makes contact with the underbody (where rear bumper support attaches) over uneven roads. I don't want to bend the support to increase the 1/4 inch gap. I thought about applying rubber trim like this, but I'm afraid it'll melt off. Any suggestions?

I think Invidia made this exhaust for the sedan, and didn't test fit it on a hatchback. I read the sedan doesn't have this issue because of a different rear bumper support. The sedan is 5" longer than the hatchback, thus my exhaust sticks further out. Their website doesn't specify sedan or hatchback fitment.

Looks easy enough to bend the body flange out of the way. It won't take much to provide clearance. I'd use a small Crescent wrench and touch up any paint cracks afterward.

Otherwise they sell exhaust flange spacers, which need 2 gaskets per flange and longer bolts. Not sure how hard it is to find the one you need.
