Noisy Blower Motor

good luck. i brought it to the dealer for excessive noise around 5k miles and they said they couldn't replace it because it was "working properly" . maybe my tech was deaf...

This answer seems to come from someone who doesn't want to do the work so he's talking nonsense.
Do you think this work should be done under warranty or not? I guess it is on warranty.

If you are absolutely sure that this noise is not normal, you should insist with the dealer or write to Honda.
I'm sure that's not an interesting thing to do.

i think they are just noisy. i noticed, depending on the weather, sometimes it's quieter or louder. they use press-fit bearings so the plastic is probably just rubbing against plastic. if you've ever taken a blower fan apart, they are pretty cheaply made. i am going to try one more time to warranty it.

Mines loud and definitely a bearing sounding issue. Noticable on cold mornings when the blower is on defrost and at full blast

Hi there, I know this is an old thread but my FL5 is driving me crazy with whistling. It only does it on the highest heat setting, at the highest fan speed. The whistle fluatuates. I have had the heater core replaced but it made no difference.

Does your still whistle?
