Anyone here with a Type R ever get a P0191 “Fuel rail pressure sensor circuit/performance” code? I started my car this morning and it idled like shit for about 30 seconds then smoothed out. A quick inspection under the hood revealed nothing so I started driving to work. The car was bucking under load but slowly getting better. Finally the check engine light came on and I got this code. By the time I got to work it seemed to be running fine but I’m going to look at the wiring for the sensor. It did rain hard for the last 2 days, but I’m doubting that water has gotten into a connector. I also did some data logging while this was going on and the fuel trims were off the charts positive, but the fuel pressure looked like it was matching the commanded fuel pressure.
Wondering if anyone has experienced this. I know a few have had to replace their high pressure pump on these cars.
