Is anyone aware of anybody running the 1.5T engine for 150,000-200,00 miles or more without ever having a performance issue due to carbon build up? I mean without any chemical or media blasting ever being done.

Interesting. I saw someplace that the injectors in the newer civics are positioned in such a way that some of the gas gets on the valve and helps keep it clean. I wish I could find that info again. I wonder if there is any truth to this. I want to keep my car in good shape but I'm not looking forward to spraying cans of cleaner into the engine.
