Its not really bad. It just isnt as responsive as it was before. i have to push a little bit instead of it springing back. Still loving the short shifts though

im looking to get this and add it to what I already have, and making it an extremely short shifter, hoping it will work without it putting anything in a bind.

It works perfectly with our short throw shifter, and with them combined, it will reduce throws by 51%!(On an Si)

If it will work, Im going to pull the trigger this week and order the remaining parts. what I have so far is, Boomba short shifter, Acuity short shifter adaptor, rocker upgrade, centering spring, and base bushings. the final two things I would like to put on is, Boombas adaptor plate, and Acuity shifter cable bushings. Do you guys think it will work and how much shorter throws do you think it will be then?

I am currently running this exact setup, except I have Hybrid Racing cable bushings. Shift quality is amazing, just don’t forget to put blue loctite on all the threads. I had my Acuity short shift adapter come loose a couple months after install, even after torquing to spec. They claimed no thread locker was needed, so that was the only part I didn’t use it on. I have solid motor mounts though so that extra vibration likely contributed to it.

so your running the boomba cable adaptor also, and everything works well together? wish I had known about the loctite on the acuity shifter adaptor when I installed it, its a simi pain in the but to remove everything to get to it lol. Since you have everything already installed, how much shorter is your shift pattern?

I’d say it’s at least 50% shorter throws, maybe a bit more.

As far as the acuity adapter, you’re probably fine if you used a good inch-lb. torque wrench. I used a cheap wrench, and I think the torque may have been off since a screw fell out only on one side. I also have much more vibration than stock, so that was likely a contributing factor as well.
