Last night I took some county roads to bring my best friend home, possum ran out and I did my best not to hit him and definitely hit him hard. I pulled over to see how bad the bumper was, and zero noticeable damage. When checking, it shut off. I decided to start it back up, check engine like and a few other warning lights came on. One specific was Rev match and brake issues. It would start but not stay running. Finally (I work for a tow company) after I called our office, I held the throttle down and it kept the car running. Kept it low gear high idle for a few miles and then towed it to a shop. Stayed running from there. But with brake issues light, I don’t know what it would be from. No leaks, no noticeable damage. Any ideas? I assume I tripped a ABS wire or something. 2025 Type R, not even 400 miles

Glad to hear you're ok. You will want to pull the codes as a first step. Without them, you'll be spinning your wheels. It may also help to get it in the air to see if there's something off underneath the car contributing to the codes. I understand you may want to take a look around the car first; but, it's under warranty, why not take it to the dealership?

I live 40 mins from the nearest dealer. My reputable shop that works on what I can’t, I took it there to hope that they can get it in the air to check underneath and codes. Hoping whatever is wrong can be fixed there and I don’t have to tow it to the dealer.
