Love the Suma side view mirrors. Highly recommend them.

But I hated the rear view mirror which was returned for a full refund.

Suma has excellent customer service, responsive, and stands behind their products.

The side view mirror have much larger field of view, cut glare at night, and were very easy to install.

I adjusted the right mirror a bit inwards and down, so I can see the lower rear of the car when I lean my head to the right, which allows me to see the curb and help me get closer while avoiding more wheel rash. yet due to the larger field of view, I can still perfectly see cars in the next lane.

The rear view mirror was much worse than OEM. The Suma does not have the "tilt to dim" and the glare at night was too much. the larger field of view was useless since all it showed was more of the interior of the car, and made the view out of the rear hatch much smaller, i.e. no benefit to the larger field of view.

Figured I’d add my thoughts as well. I think the side mirrors are incredible, but unfortunately I don’t think they’re for me. It’s hard for my eyes to adjust to the convex mirrors unfortunately. It’s especially bad if I’ve driven my wife’s car recently.

They’re very high quality and fit super well. Quite a bit thicker than OEM, but they look great. I got the BSM/Heated ones and both functions were perfect. They solved the issue I have, which is that the drivers side mirror view is comically too close.

My only gripe with them is the tint. When driving at night, or on overcast/rainy days it’s noticeably darker. I think an untinted version would be preferable.

I’m going to give it another few days, but I’ll probably revert back to OEM unfortunately. I can live with the focusing issues I seem to have, but unfortunately the tint makes darker days sketchy.

Thanks for the detailed feedback and for giving the mirrors a try.

We're glad to hear the fitment, heating, BSM functionality, and wider field of view met your expectations. Regarding the darker appearance, what you're noticing is primarily a result of the anti-glare gel coating rather than an added tint. The coating is designed to reduce headlight glare and eye strain, especially during nighttime driving, but it can make the mirror appear slightly darker in low-light, overcast, or rainy conditions.

We understand that visibility preferences vary from driver to driver, and some users may prefer a brighter OEM-style mirror surface. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as feedback like this helps us evaluate future product options and improvements.

Thanks again for giving them a fair shot, and we completely understand if you ultimately decide the OEM mirrors are a better fit for your driving preferences.
