The car getting tuned is RS Sedan CVT with L15BG Engine running on E85 fuel. This is a specialised engine for Thai market, slightly lower output (178ps) compared to the US but still has exhaust VTEC. It also comes with Ethanol fuel sensor and capability of flex fuel up to E85 from factory.

He claims he didn't do anything further than remapping, even the entire exhaust system is still stock

Baseline dyno run (before remapped)

Actual road test (was detuned to 258 whp due to customer request)

The question of whether these engines are capable of big power isn't really the issue. The question is how much stress can the Turbo and CVT hold up to long term before it all goes wrong.... Still cool to see that much oomph from such a little engine tho

The reason Hondata and Ktuner release modest tunes is because they take things like reliability and longevity of parts into account so that you're not doing TOO much for the turbo and transmission to handle.

I didn't watch the whole vid, but the 0-60 was in the low 5's. Nice!
