  1. Mugen Interior/Exterior Accessories for the FL1/FL5

Honestly, the new door sills are... disappointing to say the least. Doubly so once you factor in how much they cost.
  2. 10th gen sport hatch intake on si

Is the 11th gen SI MAF housing the same size as the non SI 10th? The SI's MAF housing was bigger than the non-SI housing on the 10th gen.
  3. Auto option on 2023 Si? (i know i know)

Nice to see Churches dyno read as high as ever.
  4. 2022 civic Si review after first weekend

It has vtec for part throttle fuel economy, not performance.
  5. 2022 civic Si review after first weekend

It doesn't have that type of VTEC... Also, 200 Ft/lbs of TQ pins you to the seat? Sorry, I had to.
  6. 27WON Dual exit Si exhaust system for 2022+ Civic FE1 Chassis

Expect nothing but looks and sound.
  7. 10th gen Si totalled. 11th gen Si advice..

OP: Do you need the extra space and better gas mileage or not? If not, BRZ/86 all day. Or even a Miata as someone else suggested. IMO, The 10th gen SI was a great value when you could get one at 21.xK +TTL. At MSRP I wouldn't have touched it. (FWD, meh motor, cheap feeling cloths in the...
  8. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Hondata’s dyno doesn’t measure crank HP. It just reads really, but consistently, high. Minus 12-ish percent for a more typical dyno jet number.
  9. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Do we actually know they did that? Or are you just guessing? MT actually has testing/correction standards.Unlike other people/publications. I have a funny feeling if MT posted more favorable times, you wouldn’t be complaining. to be clear, I have no doubt poor prep would hurt ET and 60, but...
  10. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

irresponsible? Says who, you? Did you expect them to run it on a fully prep'ed strip in negative DA? My issue is the performance (trap speed) isn't matching what power the car is suppose to be making. I'd like to see more data points, but something clearly isn't right.
  11. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

It depends on where you are driving them. Fast cars can be more fun, but you really have to take them to the track to have any real fun with them. A lot of fast cars aren't that engaging to drive at 4/5/6th tenths. Fast sure, fun.. maybe. A slow car can be driven closer to the limit on the...
  12. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Maybe the car enters a "dyno mode" when it detects it is on a dyno (using the wheel speed sensor data)? And this dyno mode shows a best case scenario (aka bullshit) for power output. Total guess on my part, but I don't know how else to explain a car with similar weight, gearing, an additional...
  13. First Video Driving Review & Impressions of 2022 Civic Si - Pulls & Dig!

Yep. The fact that it is, at best, marginally faster than the 8th Gen SI (in a straight line) is disappointing. Hell, the 8th gen was, basically, the slowest car in its class back then (GTI, MS3, Cobalt SS, srt4, etc.).
  14. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

    Churches dyno is quite optimistic…
  15. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

It's 2k and multiple features have been removed (heated seats, etc). IMO the price is too high for what it is. It is almost as expensive as a GTI, WRX, GT-86, etc while offering noticeably less power and, most likely, performance. Personally, I couldn't see buying this car at MSRP. Having...
  16. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

.... This isn't an uncommon setup by any means. Mustangs, Camaros, etc.
  17. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

The 10th gen SI and non-SI'are both running a TD025 afaik. The SI's turbo's have a different exducer (11 vs 9 fin) though. edit: The fact the press release has so few details on the SI motor is also very concerning. the 10th SI press release gave more of a breakdown on motor differences...
  18. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

I think the real concern is that HP is down significantly more than 5HP. Which, going by the base 1.5 dyno's, is a real potential.
  19. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

I was simply pointing out your questionable statement. The interior does look nicer. That is usually what happens when a newer version of a car comes out. As for test driving, the SI isn't out yet and I couldn't care less about the non-SI/CTR civic's.
  20. 2022 Honda Civic Si World Debut! ?

Huh? 8 percent increase in torsional rigidity For comparison, the 10th gen SI was 25% stiffer (torsional rigidity) than the 9th SI.
