Same thing happen to me. If I connect my phone via Android Auto as soon as I start the car I get constant disconnects. The best solution I have found is to wait until the head unit connects to Ktuner before I connect my phone.

Or maybe someone can create a tuner viewer plugin for Android Auto. This way it would connect to the phone rather than the headunit.

Android Auto only works for messaging and music. We can't add Android Auto support for TunerView.

We try to use official stuffs only. I'm pretty sure it's not working with other app. Also it's too complex and not user friendly.
