Looking to hardwire a valentine one radar detector and mount it under the mirror. Anyone know wires to tap into the mirror and suitable length of the wire?

Following. The thread below covers the install of a radar for an integra. However, FL5's don't come with autodimming mirrors.

There's another thread where somebody installs an autodimming mirror and homelink in an FL5. I suppose you could go this route and jumper off the harness with an RJ11 hardwire cord.

While I haven't dug around up in the headliner yet, you can power the V1 off basically any 12v power source. It's just the conversion from the dome light to the RJ wire and a grounding bolt and I assume there's enough space up there since lower model Civics and the Integra come with the sunglasses holder. But it seems cleaner and less likely to rattle to just to run the included RJ line up the A-pillar and under the headliner from the driver's side fusebox using a mini fuse extension. Same as most dash cams.
