Dash Cam/ Radar Detector Fuse Box Help

Any clue what the heck i'm doing wrong?? Been at it for nearly 2 hours.. Nothing will get it to turn on.

You need to put TWO (2) fuses in the fuse tap. Also make sure that the side of the fuse tap that draws power (red wire side) is drawing from the non-fused side of the fuse block. Test the fuse socket for power without the fuse inserted with a multimeter or test light.

Now we got power, but even with the car off.. I gave up for the night. VERY frustrating.. Back to putting carbon on the 992... No idea what i'm doing here since there's nothing online at all on the 992 bumper removal. It's gonna be a long night!

7 hours later the carbon on the GT3 is done.. And have constant power on the #9 fuse.. I'm doing something wrong. Please help

I can take a look at my car later to see which one I used, but for now this thread shows fuse 42 as a good source.

I think 9 is good, i have no idea why there's power when the cars off though.. The cig lighter doesn't work when the cars off still, but the same fuse coming off the wire tap does.

Don’t put your blackvue dashcam on Fuse 42. It fried the fuse and my reverse lights/back-up camera wouldn’t work…
