I have to get a new booster. Did you go with latch connect or seatbelt ? Also do you find the car seat protector actually helps ?
I got the latch one since my child uses the seatbelt belt in.

The protector works for sure! If you want full protection from spills and even throw-ups, I recommend this one instead. The Munchkin® Brica Elite Seat Guardian Child Car Seat Protector has a raised brim that catches liquid and etc.

Ty , that looks like a nice protector. I do have some added protection as I this will be for my DE5 and the seats in the rear are leather or maybe fake leather. I did want something for under the car seat to protect. I am now trying to decide on what car seat to get as he will be 4yr's old and is growing out of what I use now.

I would highly suggest the Diono Monterey 5iST if you are ok with a seatbelt and no harness and will grow with your child. https://a.co/d/9hBAabJ

or the Diono Radian 3R which has a harness system and might fit your car a bit better. https://a.co/d/8zrGJcl

Get both and try them out and Amazon has a good return policy to do so.

That 1st one you posted actually looks really nice , like a race seat but a bit pricey. Funny bc I was actually looking at a Diono in red , this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BJVH52PC/ref=twister_B0BN82RJJ9?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Good advice. I have the Diono Radian 3RXT. It's a good one...4-in-1 convertible, slim profile, and it's the only car seat you'll need to buy. It's rated up to 120 lbs. I have two of them in another car, so I can't speak to fitment in the FL5, but for reference you can fit three across the back of a a vehicle as small as a Tesla Model 3.

On the topic of toddler seats. Does anyone know a child seat that is forward facing that can be placed in the center over the cup holders with either:

-Using only the LATCH system or...
-Using the LATCH system and a way to split the over-seat harness so it can attach to both hooks that are behind the back seats.

I would love to have the child seat in the center for a front facing seat for my toddler and wanted to know if anyone here knows how to accomplish this. Thanks!!!!

I actually just ordered the Diono 3R to replace the Recaro tian elite. I’m just tired of ripping it apart to wash the fabrics. Intend to buy additional fabrics for the 3R.

Picked up a Hondata Flashpro and 27Won downpipe. Next up, jailbreak and Phearable tune. Debating on a frontpipe as well, I’m curious to hear if there is much difference in the exhaust sound with the downpipe/frontpipe. From there, the sound will determine if replacing the rest of the exhaust is needed and I’ll likely do an upgraded intercooler when 27Won comes out with theirs.

After jailbreak, I got Phearable Tune ... It's a significant upgrade from Hondata 93 Tune, completely different animal. This platform is amazing !!!

I have the tuxmat floor mats, rear seat cover, and trunk tray. They are really great. However ...

The driver side tuxmat. While I was able to get it to sit pretty flush against the firewall and not interfere with the clutch travel, The rubber reinforced portion catches on my left heel as the clutch comes out. This is unacceptable. I am experimenting with using various tapes to smooth over the rubber mats so that the shoe doesn't catch but what I ended up doing for now is using 3D brand mat for the driver side ONLY and then using tuxmat everywhere else. I talk about it here
