I’m sure most, if not all, aftermarket wheels have a conical/tapered lug seat. Don’t use the ones with your OEM wheels as they are a ball/radius style.

Running the superspeed tuner lugs on mine. Conical seat and much lower price than high end lugs like project kics, rays, etc. I fully intended these to be a stepping stone set until I can swing some nicer ones, but so far so good and I really like the style.

Just buy closed end lug nuts. No point in getting the studs rusty.

This is a real problem. I've got time living in new orleans, but I've previously used 11mm rubber end caps off Amazon and pushed them inside the end of the lugs to help keep water and gunk out.

I agree, I have closed end lugs on mine too. And definitely had to get center cap for my SL’s, the rust on the hub is such an eye sore lol.

Don't tell me that lol. I'm just starting to like the no center cap look

Project Kics R40 with aluminum caps. Just got the same, great quality!

open ended only if running track wheels and/or with extended studs, even then I probably would go with a closed.

I splurged and went Project Kics (make sure to get the real ones, they sell many fakes) for my daily wheels and use Motorsport Hardware lugnuts on my track wheels since I can easily use an impact

It's a kick in the dick the price of these lugnuts. However once they go on it sort of lessons the impact lol
