I wanted to share some photos of Integra Type S wheels on my Championship White FL5. I recently picked these up from another local forum member and I plan on making them my dedicated winter wheels. The only person that I've seen running these wheels on their FL5 is the "window sticker guy" on IG that's running the bronze version.

My goal was to stay with the same offset and width as stock to not upset the driving dynamics of the car. Over the summer I downsized to 18" wheels and instantly regretted the decision. I think this option is better than the alternative of going narrower than stock or picking an offset that sticks out past the fenders and will throw rocks and sand all over the car. I also expect the OEM finish to hold up better in the incement weather. The car will see light duty this winter (we only get 1-2 weeks of snow in WA and I don't plan on driving in it) with mostly rainy and cold weather driving.

I think these have a nice clean Euro Civic Type R "Sport Line" look which I still find appealing even if it's not as good as the factory wheels IMO.

For the center caps I swapped the Acura ones for OEM Honda Accord center caps for $20. Here's the part number for anyone interested in doing the same thing: 44732-TVA-A31

I went with 265/30/19 Continental DWS06 Plus tires and have been very impressed with the dry and especially the wet grip. I feel like the Michelin PS4S tires start to lose grip around 60° F while these still work amazing in cold temps.

If you haven't driven your car in near freezing temps yet - you're missing out. Like most boosted cars the FL5 is a blast to drive when the air is cold! Let me know if you have any questions and I'd be happy to answer them.

This looks nice. Getting 265 35 19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S installed right now on the OEM wheels. Thinking I may go OEM forged for the summer but this has now become a serious contender. The center cap looks good but the difference in finish would drive me nuts.

Did you notice any change in road noise?
Yes! I don't have any data to back this up but I'd estimate they are about 50% quieter than the stock Michelin PS4S. I think road noise is just part of the game with this car and 19" wheels but it's definitely way better.

When I compared to the Acura center caps I couldn't tell the difference in color in various lighting conditions. I think it's partially the nature of these wheels with that angled chamfer that captures the light differently than the flat center cap. The painted plastic has a different finish than the painted metal for sure. Now I want to check again as I see what you're talking about!

Thanks for posting this. It looks great! Not really liking my all season set up with 18s at the moment and thinking about picking up another OEM wheels for cold weather. This would be a great candidate. Do the center caps stick out a little bit or pretty much flush?

The center caps themselves are flat. The chamfered edge is from the wheel itself. I'm assuming they did this was for axle nut clearance up front. That angled edge of the wheel plays with the lighting and can make the center caps look lighter or darker depending on lighting.

It looks like the colors are pretty much spot on. If the caps had a glossy finish it would be pretty much the same. It's close enough that I didn't notice the difference when I first looked at it. Love the fact that you even lined up the H logo to the valve stem for an OEM+ look 👍

Yeah right on this angle makes it look near perfect. Well done.

Happy that someone noticed. I thought I was being OCD when I compared to stock and lined up each one of them. 😆
Haha back in the day, when I used to get flats patched at Mavis for the S2000, I would request them not to put the centercaps back on so I could align the bottom of the "H" with the valve stem like it's always shown in brochures. And when they forgot one time, I asked them to take the wheel off the car so I could "fix" it. They looked at me like I was loony nuts.

Honestly, I can relate to this

These look great. I prefer the gunmetal to the OEM black — it makes it look less harsh.

I wonder how these would look on an FK8.

I did not compare the weight difference but I'm sure someone has. They do feel a little bit lighter in terms of performance with the DWS06 tires. I think the Michelin's are heavier.

One thing I learned on the IntegraForums is that these are reverse mount just like the FL5 wheels. Something to note when you go to a tire shop. Discount Tire where I live is pretty solid so they just probably followed whatever warnings came up with my vehicle listed on the service sheet.
