I totally get your point of view, but my car is paid off, and i’m not getting rid of it, and surely after me, my Son will continue to drive it. He loves it more than I do at this point. Lol. Originally i wanted to do yellow or blue suede covers for the oem seats but i haven’t had any luck finding someone to do it without leaving my seats with them. So second set of seats is ideal to me in my case.
My car is paid off as well and I have no plan on selling mine either. I understand your sentiment, however, my point is to just enjoy the car and repair/replace things (seats wearing, etc) as it arises. Why just worry about the seats? The engine, transmission, clutch, etc...all will wear out as you drive/use the car. If you're going to worry about everything, you mind as well just park the car.

My car was paid for in full on day one of ownership. I do have plans of selling one day, maybe this year LOL because I am so close to retirement, and wanting to buy an RV and damn are they expensive!!

Alplus CF rock guards installed had them on my SGP and they saved the doors so had to get them for my new CW . Quality set even comes with extra upgraded honda Oem snap plugs. Almost salvaged all my stock ones but destroyed the 4th one guess 3 out of 4 isn’t bad lol.

Wait...when and why did you switch to CW? You have done quite a bit to the SGP!

A few weeks ago but I got all the mods off my SGP since I kept all the stock parts. The dealer wanted it back to stock so it could be certified. Worked out great for me although might just keep the PRL CF steering wheel and OEM+ CF wing and sell the rest. Thinking about keeping this one stock ;)

Iol I almost made it a year stock on my SGP except for the OEM + rear wing I put on only weeks after its arrival .
I must say I miss the mods but then being all stock is like a breath of fresh air if that makes any sense. It’s nice not having to enter and exit driveways sideways so you don’t rub. Whisper quiet on the freeway when just cruising. I’m sure I’ll miss the mods more as time goes on but knowing I have them anytime I want to make the move back to mods helps a lot .
