no offense but anyone who says the FL looks better or worse than the original should probably take a break from being online. they look the same

I do think it's a shame we lost the red color... and that the replacement is dark grey and not something fun

If anything, they should’ve stopped making Sonic Gray and kept Red. SG is an interesting color, but has been around since the previous gen. It’s so overused now.

I could just be farting about and mentioning this rumor unnecessarily. A buddy was interested in going for the upcoming Q50 and did some reading about. Told me that some cars telematics are more intrusive and tied to abs and other systems. If removed/fuse pulled etc. the dealer/insurance may contact to inquire about it or raise your rates. It seems unlikely as these are lawsuits waiting to happen. Didn't stop GM and other manufacturers in the past until they got sued.

Cool...TCU in other manufacturers is more integrated. Not so much for the CTR as the TCU can be removed no problemo without effecting other systems. Good or bad, it seems the same cannot be said for the 27 CTR.

I like the cover but the resonator chamber on the 23-26 looks better. I wonder why it was changed?

It looks a lot more compact, maybe it has more clearance so they get more airflow through the hood vent that way?

No way are they using rubber or plastic in the intake tube area that runs above the turbo assembly. Obviously, the engine cutout is not showing everything.

If they had made any airflow changes to the intake system, I think they would've highlighted it. This just looks like they wanted to save money with a smaller baffle and they through in a flexible pipe to fill that new void

Oh I meant airflow through the hood vent, not airflow through the actual intake.

Looking closer at it, it seems like they extended the plastic intake tube part, but there also seems to be a metal piece of the resonator extending under it. I think this might be a way for them to get intake temps down.

I did some online digging but came up empty; can those with better skills searching parts diagrams see if the updated brake pedal assembly w/ the yoke spring has been posted? I'm curious if it's a simple swap for the current pedal assembly. Thanks!

Makes sense! I wasn't sure if looking at the pictures of the diagram if it looked like a bolt on to a 2025 or if there were more internal changes besides the assembly. Sort of akin to looking at the new front bumper/grill insert and gleaning that it looks like the 2027 insert may bolt up to the existing '23-26 bumper skin.

My guess is that it's likely a bolt on pedal assembly. Also I doubt it will feel any different unless you drive both back to back looking for a change. The FL5's pedal is already great.
