It will work on CVT's but yes you would be limited to the confines of the CVT. I don't yet have enough experience with the CVT to say what that threshold is.Does it make sense for CVT owners?
That would be awesome but don't think I can swing Laguna this year. Will have to see.You doing any track days in Laguna Seca this year @Vincent@27WON ? If so let me know! I’ll come down and cheer you on, maybe even tide shotgun, or better yet, do the track day with you
Can i be the test dummy for this? lolIt will work on CVT's but yes you would be limited to the confines of the CVT. I don't yet have enough experience with the CVT to say what that threshold is.
We actually have testing on a few cars for quite some time. Can i be the test dummy for this? lol
I think those numbers are before the turbo swapbased off of the 322/380 numbers I would guess this is a smaller "big turbo"? Or is the large TQ figure more of a result of running E85?
If you guys start looking for PR/advertising on the east coast, let me be your guy! Just got back from Import Alliance, would love to see more aftermarket 10th gen civic love at the large car meets. I'd be glad to run a booth!![]()
Unfortaunelty we do not own a CVT so I can't speak much on its limitations. As for performance parts for the CVT at this time I would say it is highly unlikely.Do we know any more about the CVT limitations with this turbo yet?
On a side, note is there a possibility that you will be making modifications/replacement for the CVT in the future or is that off the table?
I want to say yes but we have not confirmed this.Do you think the PTP turbo blanket will fit the w1 turbo?
