The color is too trendy for me however.

It does look bit yellowish off angle and light, kinda what makes it unique. I wouldn't have my first Type R in any other color.

That bottom one looks closest to the Type R I saw last week. He had true white wheels on it, which frankly wasn't that bad of a combo. Not something I would do myself, but I couldn't criticize it

Yeah, like the nardo grey going around the German car groups. Does this have any metal flake in it, or is it pretty flat (hard to tell from the pics)?

Also, the very first pic makes it look like there's some orange peel in the paint job. You can see it in the reflection of the spoiler

Why more?
ask Honda…we have compared my friends 97 usdm r & my friends 98 jdm cw r, they are very different indeed. American cw has more white to it. hell even my 98 vsm itr didn’t match my cousins 98 vsm hatch

Not saying they're not different but you cant compare a 25 year old paint from japan... Its humid as fck there and oxidation is horrid on paint.

I live in florida, it is just as humid and hot here. both cars were garage kept under 50k miles.
