100% better pricing than down south… the pricing in the USA is ridiculous !! But still, i’m pretty sure it won’t sell as crazy fast as people might think with the economy Of course first year will be good but I don’t know… 58k for a FWD civic in Canada… I know for sure I won’t see a lot of them in Quebec with our winters and all.
People who want the FL5 (that's ALOT of people) who cant get one are defaulting to the ITS. Meaining it will 100% sell out without a question.

Last ICE,6MT Honda/Acura perf model.

What is ALOT ? I mean, it’s not a F-150… now thats a car ALOT of people want… ALOT of enthusiast maybe, but it’s a niche car… most drivers don’t even drive manual… and its still 6000 $ more than a FL5 plus tax… not sure everybody that wants an FL5 will do the switch either… but some for sure. I think production capacity is the key thing we don’t know.

I wanted a FL5, I switched.

Do you consider the demand and line ups for the FL5 for a performance 6MT car "Alot"? If demand > supply, in that context it is alot. If supply > demand then it's not "ALOT" as it's readily available and easy to obtain, aka F150. Context matters, not just sheer volume.

ITS deposits went from 0 when the FL5 came out to now 10-20 depending on dealership in my area. If they are getting 2 at launch, lines are up to 10x volume at launch. So it is "alot".

Honda Canada is still sleeping, while Aus is getting additional 500 examples!!!!!!
"The extra 500 cars – expected in showrooms from later this year – is a significant expansion on the estimated 600 to 700 cars initially earmarked for Australia in 2023"

We probably should all contact Honda Canada CEO via LinkedIn & tag both Honda Canada and their CEO on Twitter to wake them up.

Canada 550 cars for 23, 24 & 25
Aus have initial 600-700 cars for 23 & additional 500 later this year!

I thought we are getting~600 cars over 3 years, did it get reduced?
I wish it was 550 cars per year for 3 years.

550-600 … around these numbers… a joke if we are beeing honest… all sold… a boost of 500 would be amazing but probably wont happen… they want to sell Integra instead…

ya another 500 would do wonders for this community.
Integra reservation numbers are through the roof and Honda probably makes more $ off ITS so i guess it makes more sense for them.

great discussions/points everyone... I can only see myself going ITS if the FL5 bridge is burned....

one thing to keep in mind Honda dealerships hinting to those of us that were suppose to get the 23 MY and now getting told delays and now getting a 24 MY instead that they don't know pricing

I think Honda is gonna up their price on the FL5, so those that got one at 50k was nice

if I had to guess with ITS being 58k + tax ... the 24 MY FL5 most likely going to be around 53-55k + tax

which is another slap in the face

Yeah that's true. Our friends down south already got the increase so we're definitely going to see it as well. Kinda worrying that they haven't mentioned anything about it.

I doubt they would make significant jumps where you'd be 7-8k over what you were on year one.

Next year might be 47 and change, and year 3 might be up to 48/49. Dont think you'll see the MSRP over 50.
