I know the Integra Type S Adaptive Damper System module has been out of stock in many places. I have ordered from two online resellers (which said was in stock) only to find my orders cancelled due to backorder. Does anyone know where these are in stock, and a reasonable price?

I bought mine from AllDiscountParts.com. They were the only place I could find that would allow for it to be backordered. The other sites just canceled the order within a day.

It did take 4 months to get which I expect will be even worse now that popularity has taken off for the mod.

I can say that it was worth the wait and I am very happy with the ADS swap on 19" wheels. If you have already downsized to 18" wheels it's probably not worth it as the car will become too soft IMO.

As an ITS DE5 owner and recent experience with dealerships, it’s a nightmare with many backordered parts. I have slight anxiety with getting into any type of accident as I don’t want the car to be out of commission for months.

Acura has also been trying to keep up with production (built in the USA) so not sure if they have a healthy number of parts on shelves yet

i ordered from the same place just over the weekend. I got a shipping notice and I'm supposed to get my module on Friday. Definitely excited!

I ordered mine from https://www.acurapartsforless.com/ and after about three or four months of them having it backorder I just received it last week so who knows they may have gotten a shipment and have a few left in stock where you wont have to wait.

It's been very frustrating for me. I've had an order in since August and I just checked and was told a release date of Dec 28th. I actually placed another order with https://www.acurapartsforless.com as a backup and not heard back on that order.

Has anyone jumped on the ITS forum to see if anyone on there would want to swap?

I have an extra ads unit on hand. Brand new. I just opened the box to take the pic. Bought from two different places thinking I would just cancel the one that came later. They both came at the same time.

+R mode definitely became more usable for me. $230 + shipping. I just want to get my money back. I’m in Northern California. Lmk

EDIT: SOLD

the only things we want to swap are your type R seats and LogR screen. But in general we love the ads module the way it is

Oh, sorry, didn't realize you speak for the entire community -- made the suggestion since some people have different preferences. But, yes I agree the seats in your ITS are garbage in comparison.

I don’t speak for the entire community. Just sharing that i haven’t heard of anyone wanting to swap ads to the CTR. Most ITS owners are older with families; I have children so driving comfort is top priority.

Yes the ITS seats don’t hug the driver while powering through corners it’s a shame. I could live without powered and heated seats though
