Hey Stan! Congrats, yours arrive faster than mine. Enjoy, looking forward on your build. ??

PS: Do you mind sharing the name of transport you used? And how’s your experience?
I used Thorsons and they are amazing! Highly recommend, mention my name and ask for Chris. Best pricing as well.

My bros, I found the car in some spots (rockers , near gas tank) is covered with a bit of glue like substance. I guess this is how it comes from transport/rail right?

If the car hasn’t been touched/PPFed. I believe I read somewhere that thats some of the protective layer applied from Japan to protect from shipment.

Its probably just Cosmoline, the waxy substance that gets applied to cars when they get shipped to protect the finish from the salty sea voyage. They usually spray off the majority of it when the car arrives at the destination port and then the dealer removes the rest when they clean up the car prior to delivery.Did they just ship your car without the clean up from the dealer? If they did then a good auto detailing place can easily remove what is still on the car.

BTW congrats on the car.Nice to see some people on the forum finally getting some cars Canada.

Appreciate! I’ve had a few amazing rides but I’m speechless with this dream car I always wanted since Intégra type R

It the cosmoline looks like, the car still has factory film on the side doors etc. It was never detailed.

cheers

Picked up before new years but went on mini holiday, so now it's getting ready for Spring, just got a detail today, threw some accessories in (mats etc), tint on the weekend and will see where we go from there...
