Just thought I'd add my 2 cents here. Also disabled this on my car.

It does still pipe in audio on comfort mode.

I have the MXP Catback + Front Pipe & thought it was inconsistently droning at 3k RPM. Sometimes it would be loud sometimes not so I wanted to disable it to test.

It's quite noticeable after disabling, my volume usually set at 15 before disabling & now I can get by with it at 12.

Has anyone asked the dealer if they can disable it with their software? I meant to ask during my last oil change but forgot. If not, guess I'll just have to just suck it up and unplug the module. I have an HKS exhaust, and the active sound almost drowns it out on downshifts.

I would just take the time to remove / unplug the unit. If you use individual mode you turn the sound to comfort or sport iirc to stop the sound from pumping in.

Yep. Setting Engine Sound to Comfort is the way. Comfort = Calm/quiet. However, if you’re a +R mode user, you’re stuck with the noise maker unless you unplug it.
